HAO Design is a boutique architectural studio in Forestville, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, designing commercial and retail spaces for business owners across Greater Sydney. We design offices, cafés and restaurants, health and medical rooms, retail and industrial spaces — places that work hard for your business and for the people who use them. Led by registered architect Hai Sun Tan (NSW Registration 7532) and property developer David Lin, we handle the whole journey, from concept and council approval through to a completed fit-out.

Do you handle council approvals and change of use?

We do. Commercial projects often involve a change of use, a development application or a fit-out approval, and we manage that process for you — preparing the documentation, liaising with council, and keeping the project moving so you can open on time.
